DAY 1 SILIGURI TO BHARENG (5766 ft)
Bhareng is a beautiful village located amidst the hills of the Hilley Forest Block, close to the Bharsey Rhododendron Sanctuary. It will take 7 hours to reach Bhareng from Siliguri.
Bhareng is a village full of birds and forests. The first time you open your car door after the hustle and bustle of the city, you will feel the cool breeze. All your fatigue will be gone in an instant, and nature will soon embrace you.
DAY 2 BHARENG – gorkhey (6500 ft)
Gorkhey is One The most romantic place according to guest opinion in this region.
After breakfast in the morning, it will take 2-3 hours to reach Gorkhay. Then we will have lunch and hike to another beautiful village called Samandin, where a trek briefing will be held. Stay overnight at Gorkhey. It is also called the Switzerland of India. The next morning, we went out early for the phalut. Tomorrow will be the most challenging day of the entire trek.
DAY 3 gorkhey–PHALUT (11790 ft)
We have heard from the locals here that if you ask for something from the core of your heart from Phalut Top to Mt KANCHENDZONGHA, That wish is fulfilled
Distance of 15km will take arouynd 7-8 hours.
There will be plenty places to stop along the way as you stroll through the lush forest today.
DAY 4 PHALUT to thukum
As dawn breaks, ascend to the summit of Phalut. You’ll find perspective there, which is something everyone needs from time to time. In our lives, the Lord has changed all of our sunsets into sunrises and darkness into brightness.
The distance between Kanchendzongha and Phalut is 60 kilometers less. Imagine that you would be able to have a close-up look at Kanchenjunga when you arrive.See the magnitude of Makalu, Lhotse, and Everest as well as their location on the left side of Kanchendzongha.
Today, there is not that much climb all day,you just trek happily along the ridge.
DAY 4 thukum to aal
As the quietest spot on the ridge, the YUK Colony is known for its beauty and tranquility, which you will enjoy today as well.
2h trekking and all day rest and roam around here and there.
Be ready to watch one of the best sunsets. Where the clouds will pass beneath you.
DAY 5 aal – sandakphu – timburrey
Sunrise for One last time
Climb Highest point of West Bengal
In the afternoon we will reach Gurdum. Having lunch there we will reach our final destination Timburrey.
DAY 6 – drive to NJP
Let The magic of the Srikhola River will enchant you for the last time.
We will drive back to New Jalpaiguri from Srikhola at 9 am.
